Color My Chess World workbook and music CD is a unique chess readiness program.  It includes an introduction to the chessboard, to the chess “characters” (pieces) and chess moves through coloring activities, song and movement. Coloring pages come with the song lyrics for each piece to accompany the music CD, clear diagrams of how the pieces move, and colorful chessmen stickers to enliven your child’s learning experience. 

Color My Chess World motivates and prepares students to learn and participate in chess.  It improves spatial skills and develops math, reading and language readiness skills as it introduces basic chess concepts.  Activity suggestions in the Parent’s/Instructor’s Guide help develop pattern recognition, cooperative play and problem-solving.
