Be part of the excitement. Join several thousand chess players and compete for Team and Individual Trophies and the amazing Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. It’s an exciting weekend for all the family in the nine acres of indoor gardens and stunning waterfalls. You can even ride on the Delta Flatboat through the indoor river and play in the indoor pool.

Register by Nov 21 for just $50; $70, if registered after December 5; then, $85 or $90 onsite.

Rounds: Fri 1pm and 6pm; Saturday: 10am, 2pm, and 6pm; Sunday 9am and 1pm

For K-1: Fri 1:30 and 5:30; Saturday 9:30am, 1:30pm and 5:30pm; Sunday 9:30am and 1:30pm

Hundreds of trophies will be awarded, plus every player receives a

2016 National Commemorative Item.

Early bird special is $75 per Family. Due to space limitations, first come, first served. Between rounds, tables will be reserved for chess play and analysis only. Get your school team on board early. Go to

Participating in the Players’ Room gets big results. For players at the lower levels, scores increase by at least 1 point. At the upper levels, scores usually increase at least 1/2 point.
